Meeting Friends

Hi Dylan,

Today we visited the library and walked around downtown. You like to spend some time watching all the vehicles drive up and down the streets. But we started off or day at the Play Centre or "Parents Link centre" where you played with trains and rode a scooter and played in the sand and water table. You also like to push the shopping cart around, but we do a little bit of shopping first. You push the baby stroller around with either a teddy or a baby in it, whatever you find (but you like to crash it into something???? I think this has to do with your parents crashing you at home). And you like to scoot around on the scooter. There are a few kids that like to tell you to move out of the way or take toys from you, but you either are not sure what they are doing or you are just a very polite little boy. (BUT you do notice and speak up when someone plays with your trains or your school bus...ha ha). After the play centre, we walked the parks boardwalk down to the library to return some books and DVD's. We have about 51 books out right now. Phew, that is a lot of reading. I am glad you enjoy listening, but really, it is mommy trying to find the right books for you. So at the library, we ran into a little boy who we know from gymnastics. I seem to watch this little boy run around because he is actually doing gymnastics while all other children are playing and jumping. His mother was a gymnast in her younger years, just like you mommy. This little boy's name is Jovan (I think) and he is older so we know that we have time to get in gymnastics shape. He is quite remarkable though. And here I am trying to teach you to jump. ha ha.

So I have attached a few pictures of your gym friend and you enjoying a read at the library. You were not shy to walk up to him, but did not sit right next to him at the start but gradually bum shuffled over. Very cute. I just sat close by and watched at Jovan turned the pages and read (tried to read) to you. So very cute. Gymnastics starts back up on Tues (next week), and I think we will put you ion swimming lessons also (if no conflicts). Yeah for mommy!!!
