Hi Dylan, Today is a day out and about with Daddy. We sometimes have to really work hard at pulling him away from his computer (s), but I imagine that with the ever increasing sun (taking it's sweet time), daddy will get out and about with us more. Right daddy. So today we took daddy down to the bridge that you like to play with. We showed him "over the bridge", and "under the bridge", throwing stones in the river and off to a new park for us all. It was a nice time out.
Riding high on a bridge and daddy's shoulders.
Canmore is infested with bunnies. We have not seen too many, yet here is one.
A bench. We have to sit on all the benches along the river, or at least along the distance of trail that we walk and acknowledge picnic tables also. I brought your picnic table in from outside for the little last bit of winter (which seems to be dragging out) to give you time to learn to sit at it. Picnic tables can be a bit tricky if you lose your balance or if you can't get out or off the bench. You love your picnic table. You do your puzzles and such at it. I would like to see you sit and have snack at the table, but you do not sit still to eat, or you don't eat, so you are still in the highchair. Practice makes perfect.
Here you and I are running down the path. I am trying to grab your bum, this helps keep you walking and not just standing still.
Another puddle to jump in, yeah!
Woof, woof!
Here you and I are teaching daddy how to throw rocks in the river. A lot of fun, but we have to work on your throwing arm. You like to throw the rocks back down to your feet. ha ha. Not to worry, you'll be a dream by the end of the summer.
Here you go daddy, give it a try.
Making footprints in the sand along the bow river.
We visited a different park today. This one is down along the Bow River. A bigger park for older kids, but you (we) still had lots of fun. This is one of 3 slides. Weeeee!
Here, you and daddy try out the "Shake Shake Bridge", we named it after Thomas and Friends on Misty Island Rescue.
"Shake, shake, make me quake, make me quake until I shake, yahoooooo!"
Having fun with daddy. At the top of the twisty slide.
And now down to the bottom. Your both still holding on. Daddy's boots slowed you down. He didn't have the experience to lift his feet so you could go faster. ha ha. Next time Dylan - watch out!!!
Slide number 2. Not as fast, but still gave you a great big SMILE.
3rd, bumpity, bump bump bump.
Enroute back to the car for lunch and nap. Hold on Dylan, and watch out for our head. Your daddy likes to bump his head on trees.
