Boardwalk

Wow, what a day we had today. It is so nice to see the sun. After playtime at the kids centre, I took you to the boardwalk along Spring Creek. We did not get very far at all. I guess I have to get used to stopping and smelling the roses at every inch of our walk. ha ha. That's OK honey, we'll get there. So, we saw a couple of ducks, listened to the squirrels and birds, and listened to all the vehicles that moved around and over us. I like watching you try to figure out what is happening around you. The water moving, rocks in the water, snow melting and uncovering the grass, a fence along the boardwalk, and the boardwalk itself - the stopping you can do along the boards. NICE!

Another day, another walk, and another adventure begins.

Here, you are pointing out the new grass exposed from the melting snow.

Walk, run or stomp, whatever you choose.

Stopping for a snack. The bench was further up the trail so we just plopped right down in a nice spot along the creek. Banana's and banana bread (with cauliflower and zucchini hidden in).

Sorry baby, it is actually warm enough to remove hats. Weeeeee, sun fun and more sun.

I like to take pictures of my feet or boots. You see, I am never in pictures, so I need some sort of proof to say where I have been, the tracks that I have walked, a few memories. So I took a picture of your boots and my boots, to show we were out making tracks today.

Having a snack while cars drive behind us (in a distance), trains pass by behind us (again in a distance), and look airplanes fly over us.

And we are off again. But which way. Back and forth, back and forth. Dylan, make up your mind.

Look Dylan, a fence.

And this is Canmore's famous bigger-than-life stone sculpture located by Policeman’s Creek bridge and made in China. hmmmmm.

We visited some mallards along the creek. It was still icy close to the water, but this hen came close to us, obviously a well fed duck. The drakes were further into the water.

Hi Sparky, a new friend to say hi to while downtown. Aren't you so cute.

Tickle tickle tickle.
