Standing and Walking

Hi all, Here are a few more pictures of Dylan. He has been doing great at walking. Only one accident so far. Very Very minor. A tiny tiny little scratch on his nose and upper lip. So small you would not even notice. He now wheres his blue Beanie (Thudguard) when walking outside. Yesterdays walk was FUNNY. We ended up standing in a laneway (an entrance to a condo complex) and he insistence on pushing the wagon. But he was pushing in circles, so I jumped over the handle each time it came around, and we had some BIG laughs. He is so much fun. He is walking more and more around the house. I end up doing a "second look" because it amazes me at how fast walking is progressing. I never knew. A few days of standing, a few days of one steps, a couple days of 2-3 steps and voila, he is walking across rooms, around corners, looking over his shoulder. He even got into a little run, last night. ha ha.

Dylan has also been working on his hand eye coordination. He is able to put the cap back on a bottle when sitting in the tub. And it is not a wide mouth cap. He also gets down on his belly to examine the way things move, wheels, locks, etc. He is also trying to figure out the matching animal farm from Cameron for his birthday. It is a toy that is magnetic that stays on the fridge. Except when he takes it for a walk, (Finnegan took it for a walk also at the party). Then there are farm animal heads and behinds that need to be placed on the barn. Each placement wheither correct or not has a fun song. Or you just press the little chick, and songs play. He likes his music. Both toys that play music that Dylan likes came from the Mair family. Thanks Suzanne.

Dylan is also learning his Little People zoo animals. I took out a book from the library, even though I have had to return it, we still read it. It is called "I wrote to the zoo to send me a pet and they sent me a"..... actually that is not the title but what each page reads, and it goes through zoo animals. So I have been reading that to match up his zoo animals and again voila he knows certain animals. That is why Suzanne I would like Noah's arch, but only if Alex doesn't mind. ha ha.
What else, Dylan still likes to sing and talk and is getting louder. We have our not so little babbling back and forth and I am sure the neighbours can hear us. It is fun and hilarious. We both giggle. He responds very well to music, and he also responds to different tones in my voice.

Here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure.
