MEGADY: Happy 1st Birthday to Dylan

So Dylan is now 1 year old. OMG, where did the time go. One year old. Really?? Gabe and I were reminiscing about the admittance to hospital, the ambulance ride and the 13 hrs of induced and awful labour. Then Dylan popped into our lives. A wonderful blessing. He was 5.5 lbs, 47cm long and was pure scrumptious from the beginning. It is amazing the number of giggles he gives me throughout the day. You can not go a moment without smiling or laughing with or at him. I said to someone the other day, when you wake up in the am (no matter how dark the morning is) you are on. On 24/7, meaning you have to be happy, energetic, a go getter. What is good about this, is that you push the bad out and have fun all day. Below are pictures of Dylan opening up some of his gifts birthday morning.

Birthday morning, Dylan is tearing into Uncle Matt and Aunt Jen's gift. Ooooo what did you get? It came parcel in a wine box, hmmmmm. Gabe and I got excited. Just jokin.

Ooooooo I like my fire trucks, and better yet, it is a Mega Blok set. Great for building towers and tearing them down.

Look at me standing. I push my new birthday wagon down the pathways. I also inspect the wheels and how they function. I especially like the door and how it opens and closes. Just like in mommy's school bus song.

My second birthday cake. I am not too sure, but will give it a try. Mommy showed me what a sparkler was at Gramps birthday in July, but you can never be too sure of fire - RIGHT!!!
