Today is my birthday. A day that used to be exciting, but now not so. I tried not to even think about it, but, you know it just sneaks up on you. This birthday was very nice. First with a treat of a short ski in Field the day prior, and then snow shoeing on the day of up the Three Sisters Creek. What a gorgeous day. You can see Gabe has stripped down to just a long john top, but both Dylan and Gabe are heaters. At this point (1/2 hr in on the walk) Dylan has fallen asleep. I do not put him down for naps in the morning anymore. It was just too much struggling. He goes down nicely in the afternoon, so I was surprised that he fell asleep in the backpack. Nice to know.

Heading up the trail.

Looking back at our tracks. Gabe's wide stance and my itty bitty feet. NOT ha ha.

Nice little break for a photo.

An ice waterfall at an old bridge crossing along the Thee Sisters creek.

Mother nature at work.

Dylan and daddy on the bridge. Dylan still nicely asleep.

A log foot bridge.

Last years Christmas gift - snow shoes over the log foot bridge.

One of many birthday gifts from the boys. A nice pair of ear rings with my birthstone.

Dylan woke to the sound of the babbling river. He pointed to all open sources of water on the way back down the trail.

Family day out snow shoeing for my birthday. It was a fabulous day out and about.
