Dylan is so much fun. This little guy is an independent fella. I have tried to get him to walk with the use of my hands, but he wants to do it all on his own. We like to walk his cute little bum waddle from behind.
Dylan does not want help with walking. We can only hold his hands for a brief period before he flicks us off. Maybe he'll let us soon. But he started to walk using the Bumbo. It works great for him to start with. Low to the ground, soft, and slides across the hardwood easily enough, but not slippery.
Here Dylan is using the stepping stool. I have only just pulled this out of the closet again. It was put away when he was learning to stand with support. Now I pulled it out, but I just put it away again as he is interested on climbing on top of it. I have now placed it in front of the sink in the powder room. We wash own hands after every meal and towel dry. The step, well is still too low for him, but he'll learn by memory.
Dylan loves this Mega Blok Table. It has been a great toy to keep him preoccupied. Our game is to try and build a tower for him to knock down, but he tears it apart as we build, so we have to be real speedy, or sneaky and build it behind his back. Surprisingly, Dylan is now taking the table for a walk also. Here is a sequence of photos. Ha Ha. But I have to watch him on this toy now also as he is trying to climb on top.
A little wide to fit through the kitchen with the stepping stool there. Daddy in follow moving objects out of the way, or giving the table a nudge in the right direction. Dylan took the table all around the dining room table a few times.
PUSHHHHH
And now coming back for some more.
He also takes the kitchen chairs, the deck chairs and the stool for walks.
Dylan likes to play in the Tupperware draw. I am sure he is like all babies, takes everything out and has yet to learn to put it back in. Hmmm, will he learn to put things back in their place??
