Playtime at Market Mall

So, I had finished my Christmas shopping early and decided to take advantage of the sales for myself. As I keep giving my clothes away, I really have nothing to wear EVER. So I went back to the mall and spent a few minutes on me, but what was the most fun was playing with Dylan in the Kids Play centre. We had so much fun, but you only get 1/2 hr. So I either have to drive 1hr back to the mall so we can play for another 1/2 hr, or get Dylan into Gymnastics when we return from holidays. I like both ideas. Here are a few pictures in the play centre.

We also went swimming at our local rec. centre. Not much happening as he clinged onto me and gazed at all the other kids playing. Again, we will have to do a lot more of that after the holidays.

Sorry for lots of photos again, but it is just hard to choose one or two when you love them all.

Just starting out petting the doggie.

driving backwards, or was he yelling at the bad driver behind him??

Yo, Uncle Matt, do all hydrants look like this.

Peek-a-boo through the tire of the police car

Let take it for a drive again please mom!!

making friends - sort of.

where are we going, well it is a nice summer day in this car, not like outside the mall.

did we just pass a school bus?

Here Come Santa Claus

Family night out in Field.

Another snow angel with daddy.

Spending time with Aunt Helen.

More wheels to play with.

Shake Shake Shake

Here come Santa Claus, Here come Santa Claus, right down
Here comes Santa Claus, Here comes Santa Claus, Right down Santa Claus Lane,
He's got a bag that's filled with toys, For boys and girls again.
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle, Oh what a beautiful sight,
So jump in bed, and cover your head, 'Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.

Santa, mommy and Dylan. No tears as long as mommy was near (or better yet did not let go of me)!

Santa's first gift to Dylan 2010.

See how nice my school bus is Auntie Helen.

I am soooo tired, am I not suppose to be napping right now?

A very nice gathering and decorations.

Who's that over there?

Where's your mouth? I can hear your ho ho ho's but can't see your mouth.

The restaurant was decorated beautifully. Great inspiration for next year.

Dylan did not like the white beard, maybe the man or the whole set up of sitting on a strangers knee. Will have to try and warm him up for next year, or maybe mommy will have to sit also.

Enroute home from the Field / Emerald Lake's Children's Christmas Party. I saw a pack of six wolves running down the tree line along the Bow Valley Parkway. I did not get a photo of the six together, they were in pairs but a beautiful sight to see. Dylan was sound asleep in the car.

More Merry Christmas

I tried, and I tried to get a few shots of Dylan with the Santa's hat on, but he just would not let it happen. "What is this thing on my head"?

Tickle time with mom. Both of us love this time (more mom that Dylan). Tickle time usually takes place before bedtime. Not every night, but nights when he is still a little wired and needs to burn a little steam. It is fun to have him bouncing and rolling around in bed before bed.

Making Life Easier for Mom

Well, Dylan is a handful. He will not leave me alone to get things done. So the counter has become my friend. I keep a careful watch on him, he is close to me while I get snacks, dinner or dishes done. As long as he is preoccupied, I can get a few things done.

Making a phone call to daddy. Beep, beep, beep!!!

What should I play with today?

hmmmmm, what's behind these doors?

Christmas Time

Christmas shopping, the Santa line was way too long.

Our JFR Christmas tree.

Dylan and Christmas lights.

Christmas poinsettias decorations.

Elk heard down our street.

Dylan loved all the window decals I had up around the house, but then he started taking them down. Ahhh, that was ok but I had to keep putting them back up again and again.

Mommy and Dylan playing with ornaments.
