Winter Wonderland

Today we were all playing in the igloo. What fun and some great shots. The kids (and parents) in the neighbourhood have made an exceptional winter wonderland in our backyard. This is after school and weekend activities. I believe there is about 4 houses involved in this. I have met one little boy the other day (Jack) who was standing on top of the igloo as dad did some patching with the warm weather. And there have been many times Dylan and I have come across the lids and there shovels. Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

Dylan and daddy crawling through the entrance to the igloo.

Come on Dylan, shuffle that bum.

Look, mommy is standing.

Daddy's giant size 13+ boots crawling through to the next portion of the igloo.

Watch out, here comes mommy.

Clean House

I think these photos speak for themselves. Dylan insists on helping me sweep. Norwex actually has a line of kids products. I do not see us getting anything for Dylan. He is quite handy and the pics prove it. ha ha. This is my microfibre mop/broom set.

Oooohhhh, even Dino helps a little.

Random Shots

Here are a few random shots.Dylan still enjoys (and fits) sitting in his Bumbo. I have it on a chair up at the dining table. Mostly he sits and plays his playdoe, but here he is reading one of his favourite library books "Dear Zoo". It is a great book where we cute animal figures and match them up with the story pictures. We do this with alot of our books, (construction vehicles, school bus, puzzle pieces). We are still waiting (patiently for Noah's Ark animals from Suzanne - can you see an image of me twiddling my fingers tee hee).

One meal that Dylan enjoys is pasta with spaghetti sauce. I found a great book where I have learnt to sneak certain foods inside the meal without detection. So picky eater Dylan is getting his carrots and yams in this meal.

It has been a cold winter this winter. This is one frosty morning. Due to the location of where we live and having hardwood as our floors, we have a humidifier that runs through the house. I find it difficult to get the right setting so the windows don't look like this. Once the sun shines, then it is a puddle, on all the windows. Blah!!!
