Happy 10 months Birthday to Dylan "TODAY"

Today was a great day for both Dylan and I. Dylan was successful on the potty again with plops and tinkles. He was great with foods and naps and this all happened on his 10 month birthday. He is climbing up stairs great (still supported) and is slowly taking small steps between objects. He loves his cars / trucks or toys that move on wheels. Right now he is chewing on the floor. Arg!!! And he loves ice cream, I just tried to enjoy a yogurt ice cream bar, but Dylan decided to help devour it. ahhh. It is great that Gabe has his own ice cream and I have mine (he is Lactose intolerant and also Gluten) so some things we just don't share, but if I have to share my chocolate with Dylan - I'd be glad to. ha ha.

Dylan practicing standing on the deck. We have some decals on the doors. He loves playing with the door, but crashes or gets stuck crawling under the door.

Dyaln decided to share and devour my ice cream bar.

More Photos

Dylan just keeps on getting cutie with each and every day. We are still struggling on the naps and now bedtime routine is getting longer, but he is still scrumptious. Presently, Dylan is using whatever he can to help support his stance. He is wanting to walk but is just not there yet. He still uses mom to help him, but does not want to have mom hold his hands, he using other objects. Still doing a good job on the potty. I got his 2nd plop in this morning and we have been getting in a number of tinkles. Yeah for Gabe's friend Kelly. She has set the bar with potty training from birth. I did not know what that entailed, but now, with not have to rinse out or wash poopy diapers - wow. Thanks Kelly, Natalie and Lucas (oops maybe I should mention Justin also??).

Dylan practicing his squats with a chew on his laundry basket on the way down. "Squat and chew, Squat and chew"

I love this sleeping position. What gives - how is it comfortable to sleep on your knees?

Dylan can now get out of his Bumbo chair on his own. Here is a sequence of photos of him just doing that.

"I'm free, to do what I want, any old time".

Dylan's new bike that only cost mom $3 from the thrift store. He is still too small for it, and we need to find him some bells or something to push.

Dylan's toy to come - years down the road.

What an Epic Day

What a day. A poop in the potty, a 3.5 hr nap in bed and my first taste of meat with sooo much fun. Yipppeeee, mommy has not stopped screaming for Joy. I think she is a little loopy. Here are a few more pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Mommy lets me play on her Yoga Ball. I get to work on my core, bounce around and smack it like a drum I will be playing music in no time.

Look at me, practicing my standing. Looking good.

Taking a little cuddle break with my soccer ball.

What's wrong mom. It's my first poop on the potty and your making a terrible face. What are you going to reward me with???? I am not much into food - hmmmm what could it be? Any hints??

Just lounging around in the Bumbo chair catching up on some light reading.

Mom is looking after all my fingernails and toenails. I wish she would spend time on herself.

My first taste of meat. This is a combination of steamed chicken, avocado and plain yogurt. Not too bad. Mommy likes it cuz she eats it up after I am finished. I am still not much interested in food. I do like my cookies, but just a nibble.

Yummy, frozen pear. Another 2 helpings.

Some random but Recent Pics.

I like to chew on the plastic and not the food. Come on mommy, give me something I will like!! And she did, this morning, I ate frozen peach - 2 helpings. Yippeee!!!

Daddy and I at the park on the swing. Weeeeeee, Hold on cuz Daddy has a heavy push (picture not included).

I like to chew on the floor. I know that it is suppose to protect me from my tumbles at the bottom of the stairs, but the foam is so fun to chew.

ha ha, guess what I found - mommy's secret cupboard. Mommy found out that juice is suppose to be pasteurized, luckily this one is, but I don't like it yet, even if mommy dilutes it for me.

I am still playing (occasionally) with my Jumperoo. I prefer to stand holding on from the outside and play with the toys. This is me concentrating on talking (groaning).

Splishen & a Splashen in my pool

One of the walks that mommy and daddy take me on. It is an old mine road. Lots of people use it for the trail head to the middle sister (of the Three Sisters), or walk and cycle it to various other locations. Mommy walks it to get away from all the noise of traffic etc that wakes me up on the walks, BUT there are still lots of helicopters and tonnes of mozzy's.

This is what happens when I fall asleep in my chariot. Mommy has to keep lifting my head up straight. Boy, you would think Big Bear would hold me right??

3 Large Elk with large racks in the distance. Elk are the only mammals that hold their antlers all year. They drop them to only regrow them right away. A large elk takes 3-4 months to grow its full rack.

Daddy THINKING about doing dishes.

Mommy drying my diapers in the sun. WOWeeeee the sun is amazing at getting the real poopy ones back to white white again.

Mommy taking a picture of the family at my 1st Folk Festival in Canmore.

More adults then adults then kids at the kid concert.
