Hi all, So what are Dylan and I up to now. While Gabe is away in Prince George, Dylan and I have been all over the place. Busy Busy Busy. We are still out and about on our daily walks. Actually, I am writing this blog just down the street under a gazebo while Dylan sleeps in his chariot. Never sure how long his sleeps will last as he likes to sleep in motion. On this walk, Dylan was not keen to go down right away. He needed to inspect the trail and the gravel path before he would allow me to put him in the chariot. He is so cute. Every time you lift him out of something, he has to see where he has come from, whether it is the chariot, the change table, his jumperoo or his Bumbo. He is soaking everything up. Lots of people who walk by us sneak a peak at him while he is sleeping, and all comment on how they would love to be him, feet up, wind in the face - snoozing while listening to the chirps of the birds and oh wow, momma deer and her baby just walked by AGAIN. Dylan's cry's scared them away earlier and .....oh well Dylan just scared them again. Gotta start walking again.
Ok, so another day with another walk. It is definitely spring. All the different wildlife are out and about. We have seen a spruce grouse twice today, lots of elk and deer, and some new born coyote pups. I kept our distance but mom stood on guard. We have been doing lots of bird / waterfowl watching and came across some loons flying alongside my car. Wow!!! What else? Lots of big horned sheep, mostly girls, but a few boys and a few older rams. It was fun because we watched a ram ram another ram. Ha ha, just had to say it. Actually, Dylan was asleep.
I'm back.... it has been awhile since I started this blog. So I am now back ready to finish it. Not much new in regards to our walks. As I said earlier, wildlife are out and about. Bald Eagles, Golden Eyes and I have now seen a Harlequin (twice) - but that was not on a walk but driving back from Lake Louise. We tried a walk with some friends in K-country. A little bumpy for Dylan as he bite his tongue while snoozing in chariot, but showed no sign of distress. We did a drive today through the Bow Valley Provincial Park and found some nice looking trails to try on another day. Living it Canmore is giving us a whole new set of places to explore. Life is great.
